In May 1982, the Argentine writer Julio Cortázar, 67 years old, took the risk of making an unusual trip which rules he invented with his great love Carol Dunlop, 36: they will travel from Paris to Marseille in their Volkswagen Combi in 33 days without ever leaving the highway, despite the ban on staying there and the incurable diseases they both know they have, in order to write a book where fantasy and exploration get tangled.
