In May 1982, Julio and Carol, a couple of authors, embark on an extraordinary journey for which they set their own rules: they will travel the A6 from Paris to Marseille in their Volkswagen Combi in 33 days without ever leaving the motorway, despite the ban on stopping there and the incurable illnesses they both know they are suffering from, in order to write a book where fantasy and exploration intertwine. But when one of them realises that their great love is coming to an end, they attempt to stop time.
