In summer camp, you grow fast. For her first camp, Lily, 12, experiences it, and tries somehow to keep her balance with one foot in childhood, and the other in the unknown. That summer, the adventures and discoveries are as much about the outside world as they are about the strange inside. Because at 12, whether we like it or not, the body changes, the mind evolves: we become mutant.
