Despite its length (20 minutes), Chulyen, a Crow’s Tale has had a very successful international festival career, being selected in more than 60 festivals, including Go Short, Hiroshima, Annecy, receiving some fifteen prizes and mentions, including the Animatou Grand Prix, the Special Jury Prize of Hiroshima, the “New Face” Prize in the Animation category (Media Arts Festival – Japan), etc.
The film was also pre-selected for the 2016 Cesar, and began a new life in Guatemala by becoming a subject of study in a research centre for contemporary art.
